Welcome Daniel Dawidzionek
Oct 13, 08:39 AM Daniel Dawidzionek was born in Poland where he began his education and career as a jazz and classical trombonist. Daniel relocated to Houston, TX in 1997. He performed throughout Southern Texas in groups such as the Conrad Johnson Orchestra, Dallas Jazz Orchestra, and a variety of Latin ensembles. Daniel completed his Masters of Music (emphasis in jazz studies and performance) from the University of North Texas in 2001. Since that time he has been performing regularly in show bands on cruise ships. The Denver Musicians Association welcomes Daniel as a new member and resident of Westminster, CO.
Daniel performed with the Gdansk Opera Orchestra and also toured with a variety of jazz ensembles throughout Poland, Finland, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. In 1989 he performed and recorded Rolf Lieberman’s Concerto for Jazz Band and Symphony Orchestra, which was broadcast live with the Grand Polish Radio and TV Symphony Orchestra and the Academy of Music Big Band. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in 1990 from the Karol Szymanowski Academy Music in Katowice, Poland. Daniel pursued additional studies at the Jazz Department of Hilversum Conservatorium in the Netherlands.
