Arts Supporters for Obama, do what you can before election day

Oct 24, 03:22 PM

Dear Artists and Arts Supporters for Obama:

If you believe, as we do, that the upcoming election is critical to the future of our country, and if you also believe, as we do, in the value and importance of the arts in our lives, I urge you to support Barack Obama on November 4th, and ask your help in ensuring he is elected the next President of the United States of America. Forward this message to friends, family, artists and arts supporters so they can do their part too.

Senator Obama has articulated a solid platform for support of the arts – one which would provide an unprecedented opportunity for development of the arts and culture in the US as never before. Be present this Sunday, in Denver’s Civic Center Park, where Obama will speak and you can hear his inspiring message in person.

For your convenience, the Colorado Chapter of Obama National Arts Policy Committee has set up a website. Please visit www.artsobamacolorado.com where you can find:

This is a critical moment for the future of America and a game-changing moment for the arts in America. Please help us elect a president who can address the many serious issues facing us as a nation, but who also understands the value and importance of the arts in our life as a nation.

Please note that if you are employed by a public or non-profit agency, you should use your personal e-mail to forward these messages. There is no rule against your RECEIVING campaign materials at your place of work, but, if you wish to proceed, you should do so by switching to your own personal account.

Sincerely,

Colorado Chapter of Obama National Arts Policy Committee
