Broadway Music School Celebrates Jazz Appreciation Month

April Jazz Guitar Festival!
Concerts & Jazz Guitar Workshops April 12 & 19
In the Concert Hall at 1940 S. Broadway St., Denver
April 12th, the legendary guitarist Gene Bertoncini, hailed as “The Segovia of Jazz”

Workshop: 1:00 PM — Gene’s workshop will cover fundamental concepts in arranging tunes for solo jazz guitar and practice techniques for jazz improvisation.
Concert: 7:30 PM — Join Gene in one of his favorite settings – performing a solo nylon string guitar concert in a concert hall.

Corey Christiansen
Modern jazz master guitarist.
Workshop: 1:00 PM — His afternoon workshop will focus on theory and practice techniques
for jazz improvisation, technical exercises for advanced players, and comping jazz accompaniment.
Concert: 7:30 PM — Corey returns to Broadway Music School after delighting everyone with his appearance a year ago, joined again by: Ken Walker – bass, and Todd Reid – drums.

Day of concert: $20 workshop/ $20 concert – $35 for both
Advance price: $15 workshop/ $15 concert – $25 for both
