DMA Voter Registration Drive

This coming Monday, August 6, the DMA hosts our first voter registration drive for the November 2012 election. We want every member of the DMA registered to vote!

From 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, August 6, we will be making phone calls directly to our members from our own DMA offices (Colorado AFL-CIO is bringing extra phones for us to use). Our goals are:

1. Make sure our members are registered to vote.

2. Make sure our members are registered for mail in ballot.

Some folks might think they are registered to vote, or registered for mail in ballot, but Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler recently made some changes that bumped some folks off of the “permanent” voter registration. So we want to encourage everyone to visit the Secretary of State site and check to make sure they are registered.
