ëWhatís Cookinî performs the most complex, interesting big band music being played in the Denver metro area. An absolutely outstanding Big Band featuring 18 of Metro-Denver's finest jazz musicians. The band performs state of the art works of the greatest composers/arrangers in the industry...a true big-band jazz experience.
Led by music veterans Gene Smookler (bari sax) and Larry Campbell (alto sax), this hot band features such notable performers as Brad Goode (trumpet), Todd Reid (drums), Ron Bland (bass), Rob Olds (trombone), and many others. The roster reads like a who's who in the local music scene, and the charts are tough enough to challenge these fabulous musicians.
