Teaching Philosophy
Camilla Bonzo I teach all ages, all levels. My primary focus is to teach a technical foundation that will serve students as many years as they wish to play. I expect students to take lessons seriously and practice to the best of their ability; the harder a student works, the greater his or her musical enjoyment will be in the long run. x

Teaching Philosophy
Kimberlee Hanto I have been teaching cello for over 20 years and enjoy it greatly. My studio is in north Boulder, and I teach private (one on one) lessons. Students vary in age from 8 through adult- and the levels vary as well. Some of my students have continued on to major in music and for others it is just a hobby. I do use the Suzuki repertoire, but I do not use the Suzuki method (though I have studied it). My teaching style is traditional, and I offer recitals approximately five times a year for those students who are interested. I do support students playing in ensembles and orchestras- and work on this music in lessons. Playing in a chamber ensemble greatly improves one‘s playing- and is a lot of fun! I also coach chamber ensembles. Personally, I perform with A Lyric Ensemble which presents concerts as well as performs for private functions. I also founded the Colorado Cello Choir and we perform regularly. It is an ensemble of my advanced high school and adult students. Playing the cello is a fun and rewarding experience! x
