Suzanne Moulton-Gertig is both a solo and orchestral harpist in the Metropolitan Denver area along with her duties as a faculty member in both the Lamont School of Music and University Libraries at the University of Denver. She is harpist for the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Jefferson Symphony and Evergreen Chamber Orchestra.
She combines professional performance experience along with a wide variety of works in her solo repertoire that includes
classical, popular, and church music, and is available for receptions, cocktail parties, corporate events, and weddings.
Suzanne Moulton-Gertig joined the faculty of the University of Denver in 1985. She is professor of Harp, Introduction to Graduate Studies and Research, and heads the Music Library. Moulton-Gertig has served as editor of Ars Musica Denver and The American Harp Journal.
She has published numerous articles and reviews and chapters in musicology, harp, and library science journals and books, as well as articles in The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, revised edition and Women in Music since 1900: An Encyclopedia. She has given invited papers and presentations both nationally and internationally.
Moulton-Gertig has biographical entries in various publications, including International Who's Who in Music, Who's Who in American Music, and Dictionary of International Biography. She serves as the Director of the Reznicek Society, which is dedicated to reviving the music of Emil N. von Reznicek and other forgotten late-19th century composers.
