New member, Stan Lucero is a creative percussion player. He plays a variety of Latin jazz, salsa, funk, rock and traditional Afro-Cuban sounds. His instruments include, congas, timbales, bongos, djembe LP pro shekere, guiro, and maracas. His 20 years of experience playing with local Denver bands provides that backbone of rhythm that only an experienced percussionist can provide. He has worked on a variety of music projects for over a decade. Recently, he conducted and participated in various drum clinics and drum circles. He has played many venues, including LODO Music Hall, The Soiled Dove and The Cherry Creek Sneak. Bands he has played with include, Wide Open (Santana Cover Band)-opened for Bo Diddley, Nice Change and Orion’s Room.
