Solo Marimba with a Spanish sound perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions, cocktail parties, corporate luncheons and more! The beautiful, mellow sound of Marimba will add the perfect ambiance for your event! About the performer; After relocating to Denver in 2000, Mr.Theobald has been performing as a member and soloist with the local “Pan Jumbies” Steel Drum group, supplying music for numerous company events as well as public concerts and weddings. After graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy, where he won the Concerto Competition, he received his BA from the University of Illinois, was the Graduate Assistant of Percussion at the University of Miami and percussionist with the Greater Miami Philharmonic. After Miami, Mr.Theobald performed with “Julio Iglesias” for 17 years traveling the world to over 70 countries. Before relocating to Denver, Colorado, he lived in New Jersey and performed in New York doing work for Broadway shows as well as concerts at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center.
