I began writing songs in 1983 with inspiration from the great songwriters and sylists of our time. Most notable to me are George Benson, Al Jarreau, James Ingram, and the late, great Smokey Robinson. Soul music, ballads and jazz have become my personal forte as a composer.
Music is my inspiration. One of my earliest compositions was quickly stolen from me, but even that become a transitional moment. I became more familiar with copyright laws and good music business. I continued as a songwriter, determined to somehow make a career of my musical gifts and talent.
In 1997 I befriended a gentleman by the name of Steve Jackson. Through this partnership we assembled the instrumental parts to combine with the lyrics of two songs I had written earlier. I have since continued writing songs that I hope will become invaluable to those with a discriminating ear for good quality music and entertainment.
