Friends of Chamber Music, Loveland have been organized and performing for 22 plus years. Concerts in private homes and churches performing music from the Baroque to the present time have been well received by audiences. Performances have been presented in various locals, including Loveland, Fort Collins, Estes Park, Broomfield and Windsor.
The Friends sponsor their annual Sonatina Festival: young pianists performing with a string quartet….a great experience for the pianists before they perform a whole concerto with orchestra.
Friends of Chamber Music Loveland is a non-profit cultural and educational organization. It‘s purpose is to promote means and opportunities for the education of the general public with respect to the study, culture, and appreciation of instrumental music through chamber music presentations and the enjoyment and wholesome utilization thereof. It also exists to provide an opportunity for musicians to share an enjoyable and meaningful musical experience, thereby contributing to the cultural development of the community.
