David is part of a new generation of classical guitarists who embrace the rigors of classical study along with the stylistic variety that is part of the instrument‘s heritage and character. Styles as diverse as classical, folk, jazz, and rock have brought him to venues as diverse as the eminent Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the top Denver jazz club “Dazzle” and the cozy settings of coffee houses throughout the metro area.
An early love for Paul Simon inspired David to pursue his song-writing craft, while an abiding love for his instrument led to serious classical study. David received a B. A. in guitar performance from Colorado Christian University, is currently pursuing his Master‘s degree in guitar performance from the University of Denver.
David is a wedding specialist, with experience at over 50 weddings where he performs as a soloist as well as with vocalist and flautist Chelsea de la Cuadra.
