The Dean Bushnell Orchestra has been entertaining dance crowds since the fall of 1951. The band features a mellow saxophone section, a top notch brass section, a solid rhythm section and uses the best vocalists in the area. The size of the group varies from the “Little” Big Band of 9 for smaller parties, to the 12 piece Big Band and up to an 18 piece Big Band for large gatherings and conventions. The Dean Bushnell Orchestra has appeared with many of the top entertainers in show business. Prestigious affairs include ten summers at the Riverside Ballroom in Estes Park, the Officers Club at Warren Air Force Base, The Rainbow Ballroom in Denver, The Moonlight Gardens Ballroom at Lakeside Amusement Park, The Tracadero Ballroom at Elitch Gardens, The San Marco Room at the Brown Palace, The Cosmopolitan Hotel, The Broadmoor Hotel, The Turn of the Century, The Park Suite Hotel, most of the Country Clubs, Elks clubs and hotels in the area.
