MPTF has been an important aspect of the musical life of this country for over fifty years. We wish to recognize and celebrate their support of music in denver and to invite you to play a role in the next fifty years. MPTF stands for The Recording Industry's Music Performance Trust Fund.
WHAT IT IS: A trust account funded by the joint contributions of record companies and professional recording musicians.
WHAT IT DOES: The MPTF Fund helps sustain the cost of LIVE, FREE, PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC PERFORMANCE. In addition to public concerts, the MPTF Fund supports hundreds of educational concerts in the schools.
HOW IT WORKS: Your organization provides funding toward the cost of a performance. Following approval of the project, the MPTF can provide the balance. Minimal restrictions are that the performance be without admission charge and contain no political or religious message.
For information on how you or your organization can help keep music
alive in our community, call the Denver
Musicians Association at 303-573-1717. Visit the MPTF
