At 46, Mr. Kaplansky has taught piano, accordion and keyboards for 25 years. Boris is experienced as a music teacher in the school system, currently at a specialized music high school. He received his Bachelor of Music Education and Masters Degree in Piano Performance at the Odessa State University of Pedagogics, Ukraine (Russia). He accepts students of any ages, starting from 7 years old

Keyboard Performer

As a performing musician both solo and in bands, Boris has played keys and piano since his childhood days growing up in Russia. He has a special interest in blues and jazz standards, pop, soul and R&B and is available  for freelance work with groups.

He is an accomplished Jazz keyboardist adept at arranging music, conducting trios and quartets and participating in improvisational jams. He is a solo performer of background music in restaurants and parties, performs routinely at local music clubs and serves as accompanist for the Colorado Ballet School.  He has also worked as a conductor for corporate sponsored musical groups and clubs.
